Between lessons

A rhythm for learning.

The original between-lesson worksheet sets out five practice days, at 15–20 minutes per day. Set a goal, listen to the song, review yesterday’s work twice, read the new section’s notes twice, get your hands ready, practice that section 10–15 times, then play from the beginning twice.

Use the worksheet with your teacher’s guidance. The current creative music page recommends a consistent routine of about 15 minutes daily.

The original worksheet’s PDF creation metadata is October 6, 2017. It remains linked from the original school website; the routine is a source reference to use with your teacher’s guidance.
